- How can I bid for a product?
Credit your account and start bidding! You can place your bids either in the reveal or countdown auction.
- What is the reveal auction?
All reveal auctions are displayed with one start price, which is the respective product value. The actual purchase price is concealed until you place a bid. With each bid placed, the price decreases, so the actual purchase price is always less than the product value. Saving costs is guaranteed.
- What is the countdown auction?
All countdown auctions start at 0 and have no reserve price. They last for one hour. With each bid placed, the price increases. The final auction price is kept very low – on average, the auctions end 90% below the product value.
If you did not win the auction, you can still buy the item and credit your bidding cost towards the purchase price.
- How can I buy a product?
Reveal Auction:
After revealing the purchase price you can buy the item directly at the discounted price.
Countdown auction:
If you did not win the auction, you can still buy the item and credit your bidding cost towards the purchase price. This way every user has the opportunity to make a great bargain without the risk of losing any money!
- What is Designer Auction?

- The auction, the transaction or your account have been blocked?
This occurs when Designer Auction's security block has been activated. There are several reasons why this may happen, such as suspicion of fraud, too many transactions carried out by same user during a short period of time or breach of the Terms and Conditions. If you have been affected by any kind of security block please contact our customer service at info@designer-auction.com.
- The bid transaction has been approved but no bids have been deposited in my bid account?
Please be patient, it may take a few minutes until you can see your purchased bids. Sometimes this is due to a temporary delay of the payment or due to a technical error. When this occurs please e-mail us immediately to info@designer-auction.com. Please don't forget to include the order number you received in the confirmation e-mail from designer-auction.com.
- How does the AUTOBIDDER work?
Users can choose between two ways of bidding. Bids can be placed by clicking on the relevant BID NOW buttons, or can be placed automatically with the AUTOBIDDER. The AUTOBIDDER assists users in being able to bid on an auction even if they are not online. The AUTOBIDDER will automatically submit bids according to the instructions set in advance by the user. The AUTOBIDDER is very simple and can be activated in two ways. You can either go directly to the AUTOBIDDER section in your account, select the auction and set your instructions, or click directly on the auction picture, which will expand and will then offer you an AUTOBIDDER function. Using the AUTOBIDDER increases your chances of winning.
- Are the products new?
Yes. All products at Designer Auction are brand new or come directly from the fashion shows around the world.
- Do the products have guarantee?
Yes, the products are delivered with guarantee. However, it is the retailer/designer who is responsible for the guarantee. Where necessary, Designer Auction provides help with the guarantee.
- What happens after I have won an auction?
We contact the winner via e-mail within 24 hours after the auction has finished. The winner is sent an invoice of the winning bid as well as the shipping costs. When the invoice has been paid the article will normally be delivered within 3 - 5 working days.
- How much does the shipping cost?
Shipping costs are disclosed in each auction description and vary depending on the product you buy. Most of the time Designer Auction offers free shipping.
- How long is the delivery time?
Normally the product is delivered within 3 - 5 working days after the buyer has paid the invoice. On rare occasions, e.g. when there is a product shortage, deliveries may take longer.
- What is the age limit to participate in the auctions?
You have to be at least 18 years old to participate in the auctions.
- In which countries is Designer Auction present?
Designer Auction is present in Great Britain, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
- Is Designer Auction safe?
Yes. We use the highest standards possible to ensure your safety. Your security and privacy is our priority.
- Does Designer Auction offer the products from fashion shows?
Yes. We work together with many high-end designers that provide us with the most recent collections or unique samples. We will often have products in our auctions which you can not buy in stores yet.
- Does Designer Auction also offer all-time classics from designer collections?
Yes. We are very selective about our products and will also offer the most popular all-time classics.
